HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015 !!

Matt Henshaw Linked In 2014

Happy New Year peoples one and all ... 2014 was one hell of a ride ! This is me featuring in the Summer 2014 Linked In promotional campaign, and it's true, now more than ever. I feel "match-fit" and hardened by the road, and boy, have I seen some road !? I'm all ready and geared up for hitting the continent and I hope you'll be keen to follow my travels.

Here's a video that's now a year old, very proud of it I am, and it started last year off very nicely indeed, you might have to hold your horses for new music this year, but don't worry, it's on it's way !! Peace, Love & Tea, MHx

The Brown Lion in Birmingham tonight ...

Evening friends,

Just about to head out the door to Birmingham, going over to the Brown Lion for an acoustic show accompanied by Muthafunk saxophonist Lukasz. Looking forward to it. Should be a real good show. Gonna be doing some Satsuma Elephants stuff, some B-Boy Soul and a few soul numbers you'll probably know and love, and if you don't know and love soul music then I've no idea what you're doing here !

Hayfever is a bit of an annoyance, any got it? Send me some tips on how to stop sneezing between writing every sentence of my blog. That would be most helpful !

Here's an acoustic number recorded a few weeks back in the living room of a big fan ... I wasn't allowed through the door without my acoustic guitar and a willingness to sing Can't Hold Back ! Good times nonetheless. You're all beautiful, and if you ever want me to come and play in your living room I probably will, for food and petrol money. I'm easy like Lionel Richie.

Setlist from Tamworth ...

Well that was an all day marathon in Tamworth Town at the last minute. Good day though. Caught up with some old friends and sent thoughts to some who couldn't be with us. And ReggiiMental performed four sets. Nice one to all involved and all the goodness done for charity ...

My set was, short and sweet and an acoustic tickle of the ear that echo down the ages in T Town ... so I'm told anyways ...

It Ain't Easy
Me & You
The World's Gone Mad
Can't Hold Back
Bonne Nuit Madame / Stand By the Window

So, more new bits and some sing-a-longs ... yes I'm pleased to say the beautiful people of Tamworth were singing along. Get in !

And here's a blurry image, but 'tis me ... in the red pea-coat (it was so bloomin' cold I kept it on all day) ...
